In today’s time, the USB drive (Pen Drive) is the easiest and economical means to store more data and it is also better than hard discs, because this small device also makes many big tasks easily.
But sometimes it happens that the device is not able to format the USB drive Windows computer due to corrupt or any other malfunction. But this problem can be eliminated in two easy ways.
(A) With the help of Error Checker
1. Open My Computer or This PC.
2. Right-click on the USB drive and access the Properties option.
3. Click on the Tools tab at the top of the Properties, then click Check Now.
4. After this, Automatically choose the option of file system errors and Scan for an attempt for bad sectors.
5. Click the Start button for the process and wait for the process to finish.
6. Once the process is finished, format your device.
(B) With the help of Command Prompt
1. Connect the Pen Drive to the computer, keep in mind that remove all other connected USB drives from the computer.
2. Type CMD in the Start menu and right click. And run with the Administrative Rights.
3. After that type the disk part and press enter so that the list of connected devices will be displayed to you. Note the number of the USB drive among them.
4. Now type select disk disk_ (number) and press enter.
5. After this type the clean by pressing Enter to format your device.
