With the help of network, Computers can exchange electronic information among themselves and are connected by wire or wireless.

This movement of information takes place through a particular convention, called Protocol, and every computer in the network has to follow it.

There are special protocols for the efficient exchange of different types of information.

When many networks join together, it is called Internetwork , which is abbreviated as Internet.
